Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rorion Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raiuga A (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). A has chosen Adriano ta me ouvindo? as his entrance music. Rorion Gracie looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A gets caught flat footed, as Gracie shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Gracie seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Gracie passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, A has escaped the position, nice work there.
A tries to improve position but can't.
Gracie tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Gracie remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
A is trying to get back to half guard.

A is trying to control Gracie's posture but Gracie avoids it.
Gracie tries to move to mount but A blocks the move with his legs.
A can't do much from the bottom here.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but A keeps working.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gracie.
A throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gracie's head.

Gracie is rocked!
A shoots and misses

and Gracie counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in A's guard now.
A wants to sweep here but Gracie controlling him for the moment.

Gracie is breathing heavily.

Gracie chips away with some ground and pound.
Gracie is stalling in the full guard.

Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but A is retaining full guard.
Gracie works a leg free and moves into half guard.

A really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gracie lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Gracie tries to pass the half guard into mount. A knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
A wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but A is defending well.
Well, if Gracie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

A looking for subs from the bottom but Gracie mounts him!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Gracie is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, A has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Gracie wants to control the pace but A is squirming around nicely.

A is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Gracie locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! A is forced to tap!
