Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Punchie Mcpunchpunch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paddy Rat!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rat fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mcpunchpunch tries to clinch
and Rat counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rat connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Mcpunchpunch blocks a head kick by Rat.
Rat throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rat will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rat connects with a looping right hand.
Rat tests Mcpunchpunch's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Rat tried to score with a low kick but Mcpunchpunch checks it.
Rat throws a head kick that misses.
Mcpunchpunch looks to clinch
and Rat connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mcpunchpunch wants to clinch up but Rat keeps it at a distance.
Rat is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Rat misses with a low kick as Mcpunchpunch jumps back.
Rat throws a sloppy head kick
and Mcpunchpunch counters with a good low kick that Rat was not able to check.
Paddy Rat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rat looks gassed!
A head kick by Rat misses
and Mcpunchpunch counters with a slapping leg kick.
Mcpunchpunch showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rat.
Rat gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mcpunchpunch trying to control but Rat is working from the bottom.
Mcpunchpunch trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rat's guard.

Mcpunchpunch stands and throws Rat's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Mcpunchpunch has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Rat is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mcpunchpunch yanks on the arm and Rat is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mcpunchpunch.
