Griffin has chosen Bat Counrty by Avenged Sevenfold as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva has a takedown stuffed.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Griffin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Griffin, as that shot connected.
Griffin digs a good hook to Silva's body.
Griffin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Silva under the eye.
Griffin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Silva fails with a takedown attempt.
Griffin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Silva.
Silva is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva tried to score with a low kick but Griffin checks it.
Griffin lands a head shot.

Griffin connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Griffin cracks Silva with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Griffin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Silva to stand back up!
Griffin cracks Silva on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Silva falls backwards against the cage. Griffin follows up with more strikes that drop Silva to his knees. Griffin keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Silva! This one is all over!
