The Sniper comes to the cage accompanied by Surprise! You're Dead!. St Pierre has chosen Territoire Hostile as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from St Pierre lands.

It looks like Mark The Sniper has been cut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
St Pierre throws a body punch but The Sniper moves out of range.

St Pierre closes the distance and pushes The Sniper back into the cage.
St Pierre is working for takedown but The Sniper is calmly controlling the position for now.

St Pierre turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

St Pierre looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

St Pierre is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but The Sniper is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The Sniper manages to get back to half guard.
The Sniper slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
St Pierre stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Sniper swivels though and keeps the full guard.

St Pierre drops back looking for a leg! The Sniper is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and The Sniper manages to kick St Pierre off! St Pierre jumps back into The Sniper's guard.

The Sniper controls St Pierre momentarily but St Pierre frees himself.
St Pierre has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of The Sniper is proving hard to escape from.

St Pierre thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The Sniper is desperately trying to improve his position but St Pierre has a good base and remains in mount.

St Pierre wants to finish this one by submission but The Sniper is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from St Pierre.

St Pierre looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
St Pierre loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have The Sniper scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from St Pierre land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. St Pierre stands and salutes the crowd.
