Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Omigawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jet Pearson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pearson has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Ken Omigawa is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jet Pearson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Pearson connects with the punch.
A jab from Pearson misses.
Omigawa takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Omigawa throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pearson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Pearson looks gassed!
Pearson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pearson swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Omigawa lands a slapping body shot.

Omigawa uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Omigawa throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Jet Pearson has been cut.
Omigawa cracks Pearson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Pearson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Omigawa finish him?
Omigawa lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Omigawa connects with an inside leg kick.
Omigawa cracks Pearson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Pearson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Omigawa pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Pearson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ken Omigawa!
