Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Masakatsu Ueda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karl Spatz!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spatz with a lazy takedown attempt

and Ueda counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Spatz's guard now.

Spatz swings and misses with a shot to the body
enabling Ueda to counter with a crisp jab.

and Ueda counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Spatz wants to get back to his feet but Ueda is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

and Ueda counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Spatz!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Spatz manages to regain half guard. Good work.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
