The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fengap fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ahn sprawls well initially but Fengap persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Ahn is trying to stand back up but Fengap is controlling him
Fengap looks to land a strike but Ahn avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Fengap looking to sit in guard and control but Ahn gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ahn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fengap works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Fengap is trying to control the position but Ahn postures up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Fengap wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ahn has him pressed against the cage.

Fengap breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ahn tries to grapple but his opponent circles

so Fengap counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Fengap tries to stand but Ahn is controlling from the bottom.

Ahn wriggles free and stands up.
Ahn moves in looking to clinch but Fengap pushes him off.
Fengap shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ahn as he jumps to the side.

Fengap goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ahn has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Fengap but great work by Ahn.

Ahn sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Fengap is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Ahn misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Fengap had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ahn defends it easily.

Mustaf Fengap showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
