Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hattori Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mommy Ice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mommy Ice is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ice throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hanzo.
Hanzo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ice defends it nicely.

Ice has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hanzo is working away from the top position though.

Hanzo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ice with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like Hattori Hanzo has been cut.
Ice throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ice bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hanzo's head.

Ice gets caught flat footed, as Hanzo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hanzo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Ice wants to get back to his feet but Hanzo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hattori Hanzo will probably get the nod.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hanzo uses his free foot to push down on Ice's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ice.
Hanzo has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ice's face.
