Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Soviet Russia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masa Mallikas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Russia might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Soviet National Anthem. On his way into the cage it seems that Soviet Russia has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Soviet Russia seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Russia closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Russia lands in his opponent's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Masa Mallikas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Russia avoids a punch combination nicely.
Russia throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mallikas's waist but Mallikas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Russia off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Soviet Russia. That's going to take a lot out of him.
