Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Paxton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chumbo Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Paxton might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Advance Australia Fair. Banks has chosen Chumbo's Theme as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Banks misses.
Banks takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Paxton throws a predictable looking body shot
and Banks counters with a three punch combo that has Paxton backing up. Paxton nods at Banks to acknowledge the strikes.
Paxton swings away with a body shot that misses
and Banks counters with a one-two to the body.
Paxton swings for the body but Banks moves out of range.
Banks throws a jab but it's blocked by Paxton.
Banks lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Paxton circles away quickly and effectively.

and Banks cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Paxton is looking to wear down Banks with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Paxton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Banks manages to avoid it.

Banks gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Banks uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Paxton.
Paxton wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Billy Paxton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Paxton looks to score with a jab to the body but Banks is just out of range.
Paxton connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Banks slips a jab and a cross from Paxton.
Banks walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
