Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hattori Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanzo has chosen Kage No Gundan as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanzo swats away the attempt to clinch by Baker.
Hanzo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Baker counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Baker looking to sit in guard and control but Hanzo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hanzo has gone for a leg lock! Baker slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hanzo's guard.
Baker wants to control from the top but Hanzo keeps moving.

Baker throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Hanzo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Baker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Baker tries to get out of the position.

Hanzo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Baker is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Baker has escaped and now he's on top!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Baker throws and elbow that misses. Hanzo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Baker's guard. Nice move by Hanzo!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Hanzo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Baker looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Baker looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Baker!
Baker throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Hanzo works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Hanzo stops Baker from getting back to his feet.

Hanzo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Baker is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
