The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jungle gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Decimus counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Decimus throwing shots but Jungle is blocking nicely.
Jungle is looking to control Decimus's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jungle avoid being mounted?
Decimus lands strikes from half guard.
Decimus throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Decimus trying to mount his opponent but Jungle defends it.

Decimus prevents Jungle from improving his position.
Decimus thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jungle's head.

Jungle wants to control but Decimus is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Jungle has momentary wrist control but Decimus slips an elbow through the middle.
Jungle can't keep his opponent in guard - Decimus advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Decimus tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jungle knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Decimus drops an elbow to the side of Jungle's head.
Jungle is trying to control but can't.
Decimus is trying to control. Jungle wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Jungle looking for submissions off his back.

Decimus is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Jungle is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Decimus's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Decimus's back!

Jungle is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Jungle throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

Decimus manages to reverse the position and now he's in Jungle's guard. Nice work there by Decimus.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Decimus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jungle swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jungle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Decimus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jungle is keeping the position for now.
Jungle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Decimus looking to sit in guard and control but Jungle gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Decimus is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jungle is controlling him.
Decimus tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Decimus wants to stand up but Jungle is controlling him.
Decimus looks gassed!
Jungle postures up in Decimus's guard and throws a big left but Decimus blocks it.

Decimus wriggles free and stands up.
Jungle doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Decimus counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Decimus missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Decimus is trying to control. Jungle wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Decimus perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jungle makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jungle.
Decimus wants to pass the guard but Jungle is keeping the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jungle is on top in guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brock Decimus dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jungle throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Brock Decimus has been cut.
Jungle shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Decimus counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Decimus trying to control but Jungle is working from the bottom.
Decimus works over Jungle with some ground and pound from guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jungle is trying to keep Decimus in close.
Decimus controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Decimus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Decimus postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Jungle keeping full guard, as Decimus tries to pass.
Decimus is breathing heavily.

Jungle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jungle has his feet on Decimus's thighs here. He's pushed Decimus off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Decimus screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
