Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dimitri Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mighty Mike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mighty Mike was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Mike doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mike takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mike with a lazy takedown attempt

and Petrov counters with a crisp right hand that drops Mike! Petrov lets Mike back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Petrov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mike moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Petrov scores with a jab. Mike acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Mike ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mike walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mike misses with a takedown attempt
and Petrov counters with a huge left! Mike is in big trouble! He's backing up but Petrov isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Mike from any more damage. A dominating finish by Petrov!
