Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Colon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Huge!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Colon gets a takedown into half guard.

Huge breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Colon lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Huge backs up against the cage.
Huge throws a nice looking combination but Colon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Huge takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Colon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Huge defends it nicely.

Colon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Huge walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Colon checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Colon scores with a sloppy right hand. Huge should have avoided that one.

Colon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Huge pinned against the cage. Huge gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Huge shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Colon eats them both and turns towards Huge to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Colon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Huge looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Colon has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Huge is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Colon yanks on the arm and Huge is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Colon.
