PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Zwart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nickolas Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nickolas Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zwart lands a head kick. Sanchez smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Sanchez looks gassed!
A nice inside leg kick there by Zwart. That's going to slow Sanchez down.
Sanchez takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sanchez tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Zwart tries to clinch but Sanchez moves out of range.
Zwart tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sanchez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sanchez takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Zwart throws a quick inside leg kick.
Zwart lands a leg kick that knocks Sanchez off balance momentarily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Zwart looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

It looks like Nickolas Sanchez has been cut.

Sanchez is rocked!
Zwart creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Sanchez with a big uppercut! Sanchez tries to clinch up but Zwart pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Sanchez to the mat! Sanchez covers up and Zwart unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
