Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evan Sherls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Evan Sherls!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Little!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Little catches Sherls right on the button with a cross.
Sherls digs a good body shot into Little's ribs.
Little on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sherls. Sherls obviously looking to wear him down.
Sherls checks a leg kick nicely.

Little instigates a clinch.
Little slows down the pace here.
Sherls is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Little pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Sherls fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Sherls manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Sherls is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Sherls tries to land a sweep but no joy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sherls is looking to stand up but Little isn't so interested in that idea.
Sherls keeping moving, preventing Little from controlling successfully.
Sherls is controlling Little's posture.
Little stopping the sweep attempt from Sherls.
Little looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Sherls takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Little shoots for a takedown but Sherls saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sherls shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sherls showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sherls takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Sherls tries to pass the half guard into mount. Little knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Sherls perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Sherls decides to return to a standing position.
Sherls looks for a takedown but Little sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Evan Sherls. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Little counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Little tries to stand but Sherls is controlling from the bottom.
Sherls looking for a sweep. Not yet Sherls, not yet.
Little really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sherls. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Little decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Little misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sherls takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Little has managed to clinch.
Little manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Little has Sherls pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Little pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sherls tumbling to the mat - Little dives into Sherls's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sherls controlling the position.
Little would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chuck Little dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Sherls shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Little is looking to clinch but Sherls is avoiding it.
Sherls looks to land a right hand but Little moved out of range.
Little is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Little throws an overhand right that lands on Sherls's shoulder, as Sherls tries to avoid the shot.
Sherls has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Little finds it's way round the side to connect with Sherls's head.
BOOM! Little lands a beautiful left hook that drops Sherls. Sherls tries to recover but Little is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Sherls lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuck Little!
