Simmons kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DMX - Who We Be. Shoulder has chosen Call On Me - Eric Pyrdz as his entrance music. Earl Simmons is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shoulder swinging wildly here.
Shoulder throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Shoulder takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Shoulder ducks under a wild hook from Simmons.
Shoulder throws a head kick that misses
and Simmons counters with a nice leg kick.
Shoulder moves into range and connects with a jab.
Shoulder just misses with a punch to the body.
Simmons throws a series of punches but Shoulder avoids them all with ease.
Simmons leaves Shoulder with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Simmons counters with a three punch combo that has Shoulder backing up. Shoulder nods at Simmons to acknowledge the strikes.
A low kick from Shoulder misses
and Simmons counters with a left and a right that stings Shoulder.
Simmons throws a looping overhand right but Shoulder ducks down to avoid it.
Simmons dips to his left and cracks Shoulder with an uppercut!
Shoulder fails with the takedown
and Simmons counters with a nice leg kick.
Earl Simmons has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chipped Shoulder.
Shoulder throws a sloppy head kick
enabling Simmons to counter with a crisp jab.
Shoulder has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Simmons.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shoulder tries for a takedown but Simmons sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Simmons.
