Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vim Fweigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derick Mont Alvernne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fweigo comes to the cage accompanied by Firestarter- The Prodigy. Vim Fweigo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fweigo lands a two punch combo.
Fweigo cracks Mont Alvernne with a right hand to the side of the head.
Fweigo throws an overhand right that lands on Mont Alvernne's shoulder, as Mont Alvernne tries to avoid the shot.
Mont Alvernne changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fweigo tries to avoid it but Mont Alvernne manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fweigo to the ground. Fweigo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fweigo misses with an uppercut. Mont Alvernne saw that one coming.
Mont Alvernne thows a body shot but no joy.

Fweigo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mont Alvernne, pushing him back against the cage.
Fweigo can't break the clinch.
Mont Alvernne tries for a takedown but Fweigo manages to get underhooks.

Fweigo tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mont Alvernne's elbow.

Mont Alvernne breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Mont Alvernne shoots for a takedown but Fweigo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A left lands for Fweigo.
Fweigo cracks Mont Alvernne with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fweigo throws a series of punches but Mont Alvernne avoids them all with ease.
Fweigo takes a swing at Mont Alvernne's ribcage but misses.

Mont Alvernne breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mont Alvernne walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fweigo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Fweigo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fweigo throws a right and a left that Mont Alvernne avoids nicely.

Mont Alvernne feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fweigos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Fweigo clinches with his opponent.
Mont Alvernne has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fweigo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Mont Alvernne blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Fweigo is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mont Alvernne is keeping busy.

Mont Alvernne takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mont Alvernne fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fweigo avoids it really well and circles away.
Fweigo looks to land a combination. Mont Alvernne sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mont Alvernne moves away from the strike by Fweigo.

Fweigo connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Mont Alvernne covering up! Fweigo comes in with a big uppercut and Mont Alvernne goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
