Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luis Moreno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva Ii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva Ii has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Anderson Silva Ii is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno moves into the clinch.
Silva Ii looks gassed!
Moreno is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Silva Ii can't fight it off and eventually Moreno manages to take the fight to the floor. Silva Ii looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Moreno with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Moreno postures up in Silva Ii's guard and throws a big left but Silva Ii blocks it.
Moreno tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva Ii is retaining full guard.

Moreno has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Moreno is working Silva Ii over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Moreno knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva Ii on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva Ii is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Moreno scores with a couple of nice shots.
