Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Derek Moye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mister Happypants (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Happypants has chosen Avenged Sevenfold-Nightmare as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mister Happypants!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moye forces Happypants back against the cage and clinches.
Happypants is trying to push Moye away but Moye has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Happypants prevents the takedown attempt.
Moye misses with a punch to the body.
Happypants blocks a body shot from Moye.
Moye misses with a hook to the ribs.
Moye drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Moye stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moye wants to stall.
Moye changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Happypants fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Derek Moye. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Happypants throws a shot from downtown. Moye moves away and avoids it.
Moye throws an off balance right hand
and Happypants counters with a crisp one two that drops Moye! Happypants thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Moye to his feet! Moye is in big trouble!
Moye is rocked!
Moye takes a swing at Happypants's ribcage but misses.
Happypants rushes Moye and presses him up against the cage.
Happypants breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Moye has managed to clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Happypants is trying to break the clinch but Moye has him pressed against the cage.
Happypants escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Moye misses with a hook to the body
and Happypants counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Derek Moye has been cut.
Moye misses with an uppercut
and Happypants counters with a nice right hand that sends Moye toppling to the canvas! Moye scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Happypants finish him?!
Oh Moye is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Happypants changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moye looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Moye seems to have got his legs back now.
Moye wants to control but Happypants postures up.
Happypants throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Moye works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Happypants not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Moye looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Moye tries to get to full guard but Happypants has control of the leg.

Happypants wants to free his trapped foot but Moye is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Moye wants to get back to full guard.
Moye is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Happypants pulls his head out easily.
Happypants throwing shots but Moye is blocking nicely.

Happypants is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Moye avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Happypants.

Moye is in trouble now - Happypants has advanced to mount!
Happypants throwing strikes but Moye recovers to half guard. A much better position.

Moye is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Happypants defends well.
Moye preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Happypants scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Happypants postures up in Moye's guard and throws a big left but Moye blocks it.
Happypants in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Happypants accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Happypants working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Moye's head.
Happypants passes Moye's left leg - he's now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mister Happypants dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Derek Moye's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Moye shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Happypants pinned against the cage. Happypants gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Moye throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Moye swings away with a body shot that misses
and Happypants counters with a straight right hand.
Happypants closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moye to the mat! Moye manages to get full guard.
Moye wants to sweep here but Happypants controlling him for the moment.
Moye had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Happypants defends it easily.
Happypants loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Moye has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Happypants can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Moye trying to keep a closed guard but Happypants is proving a slippery customer.
Happypants working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mister Happypants wasn't active enough on the ground.
Happypants stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Happypants wants it to stay on the feet.
Happypants throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Happypants defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Moye.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Derek Moye. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Happypants shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Happypants thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Happypants goes for an armbar but Moye turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Moye.

Moye wants to pass the guard but Happypants is defending well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Happypants gets back to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moye drops back looking for a leg! Happypants is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Happypants manages to kick Moye off! Moye jumps back into Happypants's guard.
Happypants keeping moving, preventing Moye from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mister Happypants showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Moye counters by clinching up.

Moye has Happypants pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Happypants manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Moye goes for a takedown attempt but Happypants pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Moye drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Moye seems to have locked his on tight now - Happypants screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Moye, as he picks up the win!
