Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Royce Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Davis wants to get back to his feet.
Gracie thows a huge punch but Davis dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis is looking to get back to is feet but Gracie passes into side control.
Gracie tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Gracie works to advance to full mount. Davis defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Gracie pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

It looks like Michael Davis has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee warns Davis that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Michael Davis's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Gracie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Davis looks a forlorn figure.

Jeez, Michael Davis's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Michael Davis's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
