Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joseph D Pistone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Steggman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pistone comes into the arena with Clint Mansell - Requiem for a Dream (Remix) blaring out of the sound system. Christian Steggman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pistone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Steggman as he jumps to the side.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pistone.
Pistone is looking to score with low kicks.
Steggman on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

and Steggman counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Steggman not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pistone is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Steggman manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pistone on his heels. He'll look to pass Pistone's guard now, I'm sure.

Pistone is cranking Steggman's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Steggman! He's tightened the choke and Steggman is tapping out!
