Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Monster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Tobias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tobias throws a nice head kick!
Monster has his takedown stuffed

and Tobias counters with a single leg into guard. Monster didn't expect that.

Tobias throws and elbow that misses. Monster uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tobias's guard. Nice move by Monster!
Tobias wants to sweep but no luck.
Monster wants to control from the top but Tobias keeps moving.

Monster's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Monster has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Tobias avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. The Monster wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Monster shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tobias's guard.

Monster decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tobias, up you get!

Tobias is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Monster is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Monster is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Monster drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Monster jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Monster postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tobias is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Monster, into his guard.

Tobias drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Monster manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tobias has Monster in his guard.

Monster slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Monster is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Monster holds on and takes a little breather.
Tobias wants to stand but Monster has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Monster gets to his feet - Tobias follows without any prompting.

Monster is working hard here to advance position.
Monster wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tobias keeps working.
Tobias is looking for a sweep. Monster is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Monster seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Monster in particular looking to stall.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Monster shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Tobias is staying active underneath Monster, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Monster thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Tobias is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Monster scores with a couple of nice shots.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The Monster overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tobias gets full guard.
Monster looking to sit in guard and control but Tobias gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Tobias drops back looking for a leg! Monster is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Monster manages to kick Tobias off! Tobias jumps back into Monster's guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Tobias is looking to stand up but Monster won't let him.

Monster has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Tobias off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

The Monster showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Monster, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
