Hoi's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hit Me With Your Best Shot. Lee has chosen GOT DA BEEF???? as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoi throws a leg kick but Lee moved away.
Lee finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Hoi pushes him off.
Lee closes the distance looking to clinch
and Hoi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Qing Nan Lee has been cut.
Hoi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hoi was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee.
Lee misses with a leg kick.
Lee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hoi.
Lee attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Hoi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hoi listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

and Hoi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Lee is trying to escape back to his feet but Hoi uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Hoi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lee to see if he's OK.

That has opened up Qing Nan Lee's cut even more.
