Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lampard Fang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Trejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lampard Fang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Trejo!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fang takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fang.
Trejo tries to clinch there but Fang circles away.

Fang gets a clinch.
Fang tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Trejo smiles and moves away.
Trejo misses with a jab to the body

and Fang counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Trejo's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fang being controlled here momentarily.

Trejo pushes Fang off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fang stuffs the takedown attempt from Trejo. Trejo gets slowly back to his feet.

Fang fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Trejo, pushing him back against the cage.
Fang scores with a knee to the head.
Trejo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Fang tries to pull guard but Trejo holds him up against the cage and eventually Fang drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lampard Fang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A frustrated look appears on Fang's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Fang breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Trejo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Fang tries for a takedown but Trejo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Fang clinches up against the cage.

Trejo jumps guard.

Trejo has his feet on Fang's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Trejo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fang looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fang might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fang is trying to improve his position.
A lull in the action here.

Trejo stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Lampard Fang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fang wants to clinch
and Trejo counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Fang throws a combination that misses

and Trejo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Trejo keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Danny Trejo wasn't active enough on the ground.
Trejo lets loose with a powerful body kick. Fang will feel that in the morning.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Trejo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Fang is breathing heavily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Trejo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fang pinned against the cage. Fang gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Trejo moves in looking to clinch but Fang pushes him off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danny Trejo dominated that round.

Fang clinches.
Trejo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fang smiles and moves away.

and Trejo counters with a nice body kick.
Trejo circles away from the clinch attempt
and Trejo counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Trejo lands with a thumping leg kick.

Trejo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Fang is looking to control Trejo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fang avoid being mounted?
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Trejo is controlling the pace.

Trejo decides to return to a standing position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Horrible takedown by Fang or perhaps it was just good defense by Trejo which made him look bad.
Trejo throws a quick inside leg kick.
Trejo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fang sprawls well. Fang wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Trejo gets slowly back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fang enables Trejo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fang manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Trejo controls from within his opponent's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Trejo stands up and waves to Fang to follow him.
Trejo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Trejo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fang sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Trejo somewhat.
Lampard Fang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Trejo.

Trejo clinches up against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Trejo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fang tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Trejo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fang shoots in and drives through. Trejo sprawls well.
Trejo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fang sprawls well. Fang wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Trejo gets slowly back to his feet.
Fang shoots in looking for a takedown but Trejo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fang's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Trejo clinches.
Trejo has Fang pressed against the cage, preventing Fang from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Trejo lands a good knee to the midsection. Fang won't want to take too many of those.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Trejo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danny Trejo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Trejo rushes Fang and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Trejo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fang takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Trejo swinging wildly here.
Fang closes the distance but Trejo moves to the side
and Trejo counters with a left and a right that stings Fang.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fang gets tackled into the cage by Trejo. Trejo maintains the clinch.

Trejo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fang shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Trejo sprawls well. Trejo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fang gets slowly back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice sprawl there from Fang as Trejo shoots in.

Trejo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fang quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Danny Trejo has got the better of the ground game so far.
Trejo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Trejo escapes and gets back to his feet.

Fang tries to keep at a distance but Trejo has taken the fight into the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Trejo drags the fight down to the ground.
Trejo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Fang is trying to control but Trejo manages to pass to mount!
Trejo content just to control the position here.

Danny Trejo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
Danny Trejo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Trejo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
