The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorn scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Gorn stands up.
Thorne decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Thorne is looking to advance position but Gorn won't allow it.
Gorn slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Gorn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Thorne is one step ahead there.
Gorn is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Thorne advances to half guard.
Gorn is trying to stand up here but Thorne is controlling him well.
Gorn trying to hold on to Thorne's head to control him but Thorne postures up.

Thorne is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Gorn!

Gorn wants to control but Thorne is having none of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Thorne working for a guillotine from mount but Gorn is in no mood to give up.
Thorne gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Thorne shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gorn napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Gorn is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Thorne has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gorn!
Gorn looks gassed!
Thorne wants to control the pace but Gorn is squirming around nicely.
Gorn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thorne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gorn bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Gorn is looking to stand up but Thorne won't let him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gorn trying to control but Thorne is working from the bottom.
Gorn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Gorn looking to sit in guard and control but Thorne gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Thorne is pushing down on Gorn's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gorn is fighting to maintain full guard but Thorne has managed to sneak the leg through.

Thorne wants to finish this one by submission but Gorn is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Thorne.
Thorne is working for a guillotine from mount but Gorn frees his head quite easily.

Thorne has isolated one of Gorn's arms. Gorn looking to fight him off but Thorne twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
