Foster comes to the cage accompanied by Friggin In The Riggin. James has chosen Limp Bizkit Eat You Alive as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Helio James enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeremy Foster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Helio James!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Foster closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. James quickly recovers to half guard.
James regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Foster.
Foster looking to pass the guard.
James trying to control the position.
Foster trying to control but James is working from the bottom.
Foster thows a big elbow that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
James keeping moving, preventing Foster from controlling successfully.
Foster has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
James wants to sweep here but Foster controlling him for the moment.
James not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Foster accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Foster throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as James works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Foster stopping the sweep attempt from James.
Foster throws and elbow that misses. James uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Foster's guard. Nice move by James!
Foster looking to hit a scissor sweep but James is one step ahead there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Foster pulls James in close to his closed guard and prevents James from doing any damage or advancing position.
Foster looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Foster throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Foster manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. James manages to get himself to full guard.

Foster drops back, looking for a kneebar! James looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. James looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from James!
James trying to control the position but Foster is working away.
Foster is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Foster tries to get back to half guard but can't.
James moves into full mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
James prevents Foster from getting the reversal.

James is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Foster can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Foster really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
James controlling his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Helio James will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!


James bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
James misses with an uppercut. Foster saw that one coming.
Foster looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Foster shoots for a takedown but James saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
James misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Foster shoots in looking for a takedown but James manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Foster's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him.
James connects with a body shot.
James connects with a good right hand that stumbles Foster. Foster circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
James fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Foster looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
James getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
James lands a jab.
Foster shoots in for a takedown but James shows good takedown defense.
Foster lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
James throws a shot from downtown. Foster moves away and avoids it.
Good standup being displayed there by James as he connects with a hook.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Foster takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
James thumps Foster with a low kick.
Foster scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Foster tries to clinch but fails miserably
and James counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
James cracks a nice hook into Foster's ribs.
James has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
James throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Foster stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
James uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Foster has time to react.
James tries a head kick but it misses.
Foster takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
James lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A nice leg kick lands there from James.
Helio James is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Foster avoids a punch combination nicely.
Foster takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Helio James seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by James!
James lands a slapping body shot.
James thuds his right hand into Foster's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A nice leg kick lands there from James.
Foster takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
James lands a nice looking body shot.
Foster takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Foster takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
James lands with an overhand left.
James lands with a nice body punch.
James works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Danga de danga de dang - James scores with a four punch combination!


Foster is rocked!
James drops Foster with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Foster! James dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Helio James!
