Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre The Giant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Goldberg Theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Giant misses with a body punch
enabling Silva to counter with a crisp jab.
Silva scores with a jab to the jaw.
Silva feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to The Giant's calf.
The Giant is breathing heavily.
The Giant misses with a body punch
and Silva counters with a good low kick that The Giant was not able to check.
Silva misses with a few strikes there.
Silva throws a looping overhand right but The Giant ducks down to avoid it.
Silva digs a good body shot into The Giant's ribs.
Silva thows a left - swing and a miss!

Silva throws a hook to the side of The Giant's head but The Giant sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Silva tries to clinch but The Giant moves away

and The Giant counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that.
The Giant with the ground and pound but Silva regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Silva is looking for a sweep. The Giant is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Silva gets back to full guard.
Silva has control of The Giant's left arm, preventing The Giant from doing any damage.
Silva manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The Giant is trying to reverse the position but instead Silva has taken his back - oops!
You can see the frustration on The Giant's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Silva really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for The Giant.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lyoto Silva dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Silva is looking to clinch.
The Giant keeps the fight on the outside.
The Giant with a lazy takedown attempt
and The Giant takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Silva scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Silva buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The Giant on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Silva. Silva obviously looking to wear him down.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The Giant avoids the head kick by Silva.
Silva wants to clinch.

Silva forces The Giant back against the cage and clinches.
Silva lands a left hand that snaps the head of The Giant backwards.

It looks like Andre The Giant has been cut.
The Giant is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Silva is keeping busy.
Silva unloads with a big right hand that wobbles The Giant! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Silva is unloading with more strikes now! The Giant drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
