Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Linx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson comes to the cage accompanied by Black Flood Diesel - Lost Cause. Linx has chosen Hellbillies - Ei Krasafaren Steinbu as his entrance music. Brad Nelson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Linx!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linx rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nelson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Linx throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nelson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Linx thows a left - swing and a miss!

Linx gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nelson to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Nelson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Linx manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nelson has Linx in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Linx got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nelson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Linx has managed to get both his arms back between Nelson's legs - danger averted.

Nelson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Brad Nelson will probably get the nod.

Brad Nelson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Nelson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Linx has worked his arm free - good work by Linx!

Linx has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Nelson is really squeezing tight and eventually Linx passes out! Nelson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
