Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenichi Uzomaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenichi Uzomaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rocky Balboa!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Uzomaki enables Balboa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Uzomaki manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Kenichi Uzomaki will probably get the nod.

Uzomaki postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Balboa is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Uzomaki, into his guard.

I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
