Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ran Sakamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Crack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakamoto comes to the cage accompanied by Wu tang tiger style. Crack has chosen Itz MS as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sakamoto uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Crack.

Sakamoto jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Crack walks away with a smile on his face. Sakamoto gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

so Sakamoto counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Sakamoto drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Crack manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sakamoto has Crack in his guard.

and Sakamoto counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Still in the clinch, Crack scores with a nice short uppercut.

Crack is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Crack swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sakamoto.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sakamoto had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Crack defends it easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sakamoto is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Sakamoto has his foot on Crack's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Crack works his way back into a safe position though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Sakamoto is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Crack is tapping! Great win for Sakamoto!
