Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Rowles!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hunt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mike Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunt fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hunt ducks under a wild hook from Rowles.
Hunt is looking to clinch.
Hunt tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Hunt fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hunt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rowles paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rowles slips a jab and a cross from Hunt.
Rowles connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hunt's hands.
Hunt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hunt looks for the body kick but Rowles saw that one coming.
Hunt misses with a two punch combination.
Rowles takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Hunt rushes Rowles and presses him up against the cage.

Hunt decides to pull guard.
Rowles sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Hunt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rowles won't allow Hunt to sweep him here.
Rowles content to stall in guard here.
Hunt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hunt wants to sweep but no luck.
Rowles works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Rowles is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hunt is breathing heavily.
Rowles frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rowles with shots to the head and body - Hunt looks very uncomfortable down there.
Rowles controlling from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
I looks like Rowles might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Rowles is working for a guillotine from mount but Hunt frees his head quite easily.
Hunt is working to get back to half guard.

Rowles has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Hunt is forced to tap!
