Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delgado throws a hook but thnake avoids it easily.

thnake drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as thnake accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
thnake tries to free his leg and advance position but Delgado is retaining full guard.
Delgado bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in thnake's guard.
thnake is looking to stand up but Delgado isn't so interested in that idea.
Delgado will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

thnake is looking for a triangle but Delgado pushes his legs off easily.

Delgado would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

thnake has control of Delgado's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Delgado regains control of the situation pretty easily.

thnake is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Delgado can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

thnake is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Delgado has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Delgado!
Delgado slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Delgado stands up from thnake's guard - Delgado perhaps looking for a knockout.
Delgado throws a hook to the side of thnake's head but thnake sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Delgado fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
thnake avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Delgado swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
thnake postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Delgado looks a forlorn figure.

thnake has his foot on Delgado's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Delgado works his way back into a safe position though.

and thnake decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Delgado's guard.

thnake is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Delgado still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Delgado has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
