The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zombie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dundee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zombie somewhat.

and Dundee counters with a series of strikes. Zombie will be more careful next time no doubt.
Dundee loads up on a big right hand but Zombie slips the punch.

Zombie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dundee's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Horrible takedown by Zombie or perhaps it was just good defense by Dundee which made him look bad.

Dundee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Zombie takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Dundee might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Dundee uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Zombie has time to react.
Alligator Dundee seems to be getting the better of the standup.
