The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timochenko doesn't succeed with the takedown

Timochenko is looking to stand up but Ignashov isn't so interested in that idea.

Timochenko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ignashov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ignashov passes Timochenko's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Ignashov slips a nice elbow through Timochenko's hands, connecting with Timochenko's forehead.
Ignashov thows a huge punch but Timochenko dodges it nicely.

Ignashov has hold of Timochenko's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Timochenko seems comfortable defending it but Ignashov has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Timochenko is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Timochenko is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ignashov couldn't care less - he's delighted!
