Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steel Maguire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Steel Maguire has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Steel Maguire seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitch doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Maguire moves into the clinch.
Fitch goes for a takedown in the clinch but Maguire prevents it.
Fitch is working for takedown but Maguire is calmly controlling the position for now.
Steel Maguire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Fitch.

Maguire is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fitch defends it well.

Maguire takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The referee warns Fitch that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Fitch wants to hold on but Maguire pushes him away.

Fitch has left one of his arms exposed and Maguire doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Fitch screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
