Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Cahoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Tortuga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tortuga has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cahoon misses with a takedown attempt

and Tortuga counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tortuga.
Tortuga has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cahoon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Tortuga looks gassed!
Tortuga tries to pull guard but Cahoon holds him up against the cage and eventually Tortuga drops back down to his feet.
Tortuga drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Calvin Cahoon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Tortuga.
Cahoon can't get the takedown.

Cahoon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cahoon shoots in for a takedown but Tortuga shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cahoon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tortuga.

Cahoon drives through and clinches with Tortuga against the cage.
Tortuga wants to get back to striking at distance but Cahoon won't allow it.
Tortuga is trying to maintain a safe position but Cahoon gets an underhook and turns Tortuga into the cage.
Tortuga gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cahoon.

Cahoon manages to break the clinch.

Cahoon has managed to clinch.

Cahoon tightens his grip and picks Tortuga up, before dumping him to the ground. Tortuga manages to land in guard.
Cahoon trying to control but Tortuga is working from the bottom.
Cahoon is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tortuga is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Tortuga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cahoon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We're going to have a standup here because Calvin Cahoon wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Cahoon throws a nice outside leg kick.

Tortuga tries to keep at a distance but Cahoon has taken the fight into the clinch.

Tortuga throws a big shot that misses.

Cahoon throws a hook but Tortuga avoids it easily.
Tortuga leaves Cahoon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tortuga looks to land a combination but Cahoon avoids it well.
Cahoon shoots in but Tortuga avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cahoon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tortuga blocks a head kick by Cahoon.

and Cahoon counters by clinching up.

Cahoon manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Tortuga drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tortuga jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cahoon has his foot on Tortuga's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tortuga works his way back into a safe position though.

Cahoon looking for a triangle here. Tortuga is fighting it but it looks tight! Cahoon pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Tortuga is tapping out - this one is all over!
