Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shit Bix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergey Skalozub (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bix pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Skalozub circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bix shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Skalozub as he jumps to the side.
Bix has a takedown stuffed.

and Bix counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bix.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Skalozub wants to sweep but no luck.
Skalozub is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bix is controlling him.
Bix slips nicely into half guard.

Bix is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Skalozub is just riding it out for now. Bix eventually gives up the hold.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bix is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Skalozub can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Skalozub really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bix. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
