Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Overeem Is My Son (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommi Turmiola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Turmiola's choice of entrance music: Metallica: Enter Sandman. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turmiola throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Turmiola with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling My Son to score with a decent uppercut.

Turmiola feints and as My Son raises his hands in defense, Turmiola changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Turmiola gets to his feet - My Son follows without any prompting.
The crowd cheers as My Son lands an impressive looking overhand right. Turmiola doesn't seem phased though.
Tommi Turmiola seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turmiola's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Turmiola duly obliges.

It looks like Overeem Is My Son has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Turmiola misses with a hook to the body
and My Son counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Turmiola tried to score with a low kick but My Son checks it.
My Son attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
My Son throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Turmiola sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Turmiola takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Horrible takedown by Turmiola or perhaps it was just good defense by My Son which made him look bad.
My Son looks to land a right hand but Turmiola moved out of range.
My Son connects with a good right hand that stumbles Turmiola. Turmiola circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
My Son scores with a nice head shot.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Turmiola.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sloppy strikes there by Turmiola.

Turmiola lands some shots froms side control.
A lull in the action here.
Turmiola has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
My Son dodges the ground and pound from Turmiola.
Turmiola works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Overeem Is My Son's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
