PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Cerruti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera throws a head kick that misses
and Cerruti counters with a nice uppercut.
Vera thuds his shin into the meat of Cerruti's side.
Cerruti thumps Vera with a low kick.

and Vera counters with a lovely shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Vera fails to pull guard.
Vera blocking some punches.
Vera jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cerruti walks away with a smile on his face. Vera gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Cerruti shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vera sprawls well. Vera wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cerruti gets slowly back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lucas Cerruti.

Cerruti changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vera tries to avoid it but Cerruti manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vera to the ground. Vera escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cerruti throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vera's waist but Vera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cerruti off to one side.
