The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neo throws a head kick that misses.
Davola avoids the head kick by Neo.
Neo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Neo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Neo wants it to stay on the feet.
Davola shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Neo defends it nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Neo takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Davola looks up at the clock and then as Neo takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Davola smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Davola throws a strike aimed at the side of Neo's head but Neo avoids it well.
Davola advances to mount.
Davola lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Davola has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Neo's face.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neo is breathing heavily.

Neo takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
