The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marston is looking to clinch but Carwin is avoiding it.
Marston uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carwin.
John Marston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marston shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carwin as he jumps to the side.

Marston is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Carwin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Marston.

Marston is trying to drag Carwin to the mat but Carwin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
