Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swift throws a right hand that misses
and Blaskey counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Swift throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Swift takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Chuck Swift has been cut.
Swift tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Blaskey manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Blaskey lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Blaskey misses with a straight right.
Blaskey misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Swift counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Swift counters with a nice low kick that buckles Blaskey's knee momentarily.
Swift tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blaskey paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Swift shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Blaskey sprawls well. Blaskey wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Swift gets slowly back to his feet.

and Blaskey counters with a nice right hand that sends Swift toppling to the canvas! Swift scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Blaskey finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blaskey takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Swift's jab looks to have found its range, popping Blaskey under the eye.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Chuck Swift's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Swift is breathing heavily.
Swift closes the distance and clinches up with Blaskey, looking for a takedown. Swift pushes Blaskey against the cage but Blaskey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chuck Swift's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
