Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steves fails with the takedown.
Jones misses with a wild combination.
Steves changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Steves stands up and beckons Jones to his feet.
Jones tries to clinch up
and Steves decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard.
Steves won't allow Jones to sweep him here.
Jones is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Jones is working an open guard so Steves takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Dominic Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones fails with the takedown
and Steves counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Jones looks gassed!
Steves with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Steves thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head.
Jones is trying to control but Steves passes into side control!
Steves is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jones's shoulder. That is not cool.

Steves stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt
and Steves counters with a single leg into guard. Jones didn't expect that.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Steves is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Steves passes Jones's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Steves perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Jones is looking to escape.
Jones wants to improve his position but Steves is controlling well.
Nice strikes from Steves there.
Steves works his foot free and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Steves controlling his opponent.
Jones tries to hold on but Steves pushes him away.
Steves takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Jones tries to improve his position but instead Steves has taken his back!
Jones is in bad spot here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
What can Jones do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
I really don't envy Jones right now.
Steves has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Jones's body.
Steves has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Jones is defending well but eventually Steves manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Jones has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
