The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milani misses with a few strikes there.
Milani lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cordero circles away quickly and effectively.
Milani uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cordero.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Milani ducks under a wild hook from Cordero.

and Milani counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Cordero counters with a nice right hand that sends Milani toppling to the canvas! Milani scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Cordero finish him?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Milani throws a right hand that Cordero ducks under and follows up with a left that Cordero also avoids with ease.

Cordero fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Mauricio Milani's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mauricio Milani's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
