A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oliveira bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Oliveira tries to advance to mount but can't.
An elbow from Oliveira crashes against the mat.
Gracie struggling a bit here.
Oliveira tries to move to mount but Gracie blocks the move with his legs.
Gracie can't do much from the bottom here.
Oliveira content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Oliveira is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gracie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Oliveira takes the fight into the clinch.

and Oliveira counters with a single leg into guard. Gracie didn't expect that.

Gracie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Gracie looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Oliveira is defending well. Gracie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Oliveira has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gracie celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
