Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Swarowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Preuss Belfort!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swarowski tries for a takedown but Belfort sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Belfort keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Swarowski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Belfort as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Swarowski. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Swarowski throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Belfort tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Swarowski is in Belfort's guard.

Swarowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Belfort swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Swarowski fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Belfort sprawls well initially but Swarowski persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Swarowski misses with a head shot. Belfort uses the momentum to regain guard.
Swarowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Belfort swivels though and keeps the full guard.
