Njoukuaku is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I'll Still-50 Cent, Akon. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Njoukuaku misses with a series of wild punches.
The Hurt shoots in and drives through. Njoukuaku sprawls well.
The Hurt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Njoukuaku.
Hasheem Njoukuaku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Njoukuaku feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to The Hurt's calf.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from The Hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Njoukuaku fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

The Hurt moves in looking to clinch but Njoukuaku pushes him off.

Njoukuaku really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Hurt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The Hurt scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The Hurt lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The Hurt takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The Hurt prevents Njoukuaku from improving his position.

The Hurt tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Njoukuaku tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Njoukuaku is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The Hurt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The Hurt looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The Hurt is breathing heavily.
Njoukuaku is looking to regain half guard here but The Hurt keeps moving and retains side control.
The Hurt looks up at the clock and then as Njoukuaku takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, The Hurt smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Njoukuaku is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Njoukuaku takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
