Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Magic Hamer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Kuivanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuivanen has chosen Metallica - All Nightmare Long as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kuivanen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kuivanen passes to side control.
Kuivanen works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Hamer is trying to buck Kuivanen off.

Kuivanen decides to stand back up. Kuivanen steps back and let's Hamer get back to his feet.

Hamer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Kuivanen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Kuivanen wants to control from the top but Hamer keeps moving.
Kuivanen prevents Hamer from getting back to his feet.
Kuivanen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hamer's guard.
Kuivanen lands with a punch from half guard.

Kuivanen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hamer has one foot on Kuivanen's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kuivanen passes into half guard.
Hamer wants to get back to his feet.
Kuivanen works his way into side control.
Kuivanen has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Hamer!
Kuivanen cracks Hamer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Kuivanen looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kuivanen works his way to his opponent's back.
Hamer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kuivanen on the ground.

Kuivanen is working for a rear naked choke. Hamer is not defending it well and Kuivanen has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Hamer refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Hamer's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
