The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odeivole throws a head kick but Morgan moves out of range.
Morgan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Morgan feints and as Odeivole raises his hands in defense, Morgan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Odeivole is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Odeivole manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Morgan manages to get himself to full guard.

Odeivole seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Morgan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Odeivole is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Morgan sees it coming and defends easily.

Morgan makes his way to full guard, as Odeivole worked for a kimura.
